Terms of Service
Last updated 30 October 2026
Aptivus is in private development and is offered free and as it is while we build it. You own your data. If you capture other people’s sessions, you are responsible for telling them. Don’t misuse the service, and tell us when something is wrong.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, installing the connector or otherwise using Aptivus, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Aptivus on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Private development
Aptivus is still being built. Features may change, break or be removed, and access may be limited or ended. Aptivus is free during this period. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and you decide whether to continue.
3. Accounts
Give accurate information, and keep your password and your devices’ tokens safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@aptivus.io if you think someone else has used it.
4. Organizations and capture
An organization’s owners and admins decide what is captured and who can see it. If you install the connector for other people, or turn capture on for them, you must make sure that each person whose sessions are captured has been told and, where the law requires it, has agreed. You must also have the right to send us everything you send.
5. Your content
You and your organization keep all rights to the prompts, responses, code and other material sent to Aptivus (“your content”). You give us a limited permission to store, process, index and display your content only to provide and secure the service for you. We don’t sell your content or use it to train AI models.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- break the law or anyone else’s rights;
- try to reach another organization’s data, or get around any security or access limit;
- disrupt or overload the service, or send it malicious code;
- reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- use Aptivus, or data taken from it, to build a competing product.
7. The connector
The connector is published on npm under the licence included in its package. It runs on your machine and changes your Claude Code settings only in the ways aptivus install describes, and aptivus uninstall removes exactly what install added.
8. Our property
The Aptivus software, design, name and logo belong to us. These terms let you use the service; they don’t give you any other rights in it.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Stopping
You can stop at any time: uninstall the connector and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or to protect the service or other people. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first. When access ends, we delete your organization’s data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, Aptivus is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Search results, summaries and figures may be incomplete or wrong, and redaction works on a best-effort basis.
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Aptivus after that means you accept the new terms.
